What kinds of property are in this list?
The most common are house (20), luxury home (5), beach land (1) and beach house (1). Use the search to filter by type, budget and bedrooms.
Can foreigners buy property in Costa Rica?
Yes. Foreign buyers hold the same ownership rights as Costa Rican citizens over titled (fee simple) property, with no residency requirement. The main exception is the maritime zone along the coast, where the first 50 metres from the high tide line is public land and the next 150 metres is normally held on concession rather than owned outright, with limits on foreign-held concessions. Always have a Costa Rican lawyer check the title and its registry entry before you commit.
How do I arrange a viewing?
